Caught Slippin'
So pretty much, I've been on the fence about a few Supreme pieces this season that are each undeniably dope. Two nights ago, while talking to kev, I made a decision. I chose to purchase the timberline, and there was no talking me out of it. I had been checking the stock all day just to see what the pictures looked like, and each time I got closer and closer to pulling the trigger. Finally, it was time. I pulled my wallet out my back pocket, loaded up supremenewyork.com, and saw that the fucking jacket had JUST sold out. It was honestly about a 10 minute time differential by which I missed it. Worst luck for me this season.

Please, oh waxy one, come back to me...

Resolutions
So I decided that I'm gonna update this blog more often. This could be a great idea if mike and I actually follow through. Seeing as how I fail at every blog I intend to keep, I can only promise that I will try. A brief, and unfulfilling, update: I've been listening to a lot of Mew and jazz lately, but I acquired two cds I was on the hunt for and a bunch of New Order, and plan to mix it up a bit for a bit.
First, the AIR album. Love 2 was announced a few months ago, and it's finally out. As of now I'd give it maybe a 7.5/10. Probably going to be my main squeeze this fall, but it might die out after that. There are a few gems on there (namely "Tropical Disease") that will be in my faves from here on out.
Next, the Girls album "Album." Been trying to get this cd for too fucking long; finally got it thanks to technology. Giving it a shot now, so I don't want to give a premature evaluation. I do know that "Laura" is fucking dope though.
As for New Order - Blue Monday is so good, but the live version is ridiculous.
Pictures of cruiser and random other coppage to come later.

Insight
I love when people have a completely inaccurate understanding of your character.
These people often believe they can read you like a book.
Maybe they can, unfortunately my book is written in fucking Greek Linear A - good luck.

Bodybuilding
why do it when you can have to body of Mike Chan, while eating all you can?
just teach yourself to vomit after you eat anything. some call it bulimia, others call it having the abs of a frat brother with absolutely no effort.... you be the judge. Refer to Mike Chan himself for testimonials.
aside from making fun of mike, this weekend was pretty dope. got boba + chicken, saw Inglourious Basterds while managing to evade lurkers 1&2, played basketball, and got lunch with some good friends from back in the day, not too bad.
sometime last week, lee (mike) and i had a pretty analytical conversation about friendship preservation. to me, two major factors stood out as playing key in friendship longevity: mutual interests and shared aspirations. we were talking about how lots of people are acting differently and changing in one way or another, and how this either hurts or helps foster friendships. pretty much, mike summed it up with the whole "coolness" test, which i generally agree with. there was a lot more to the whole discussion, but the bottom line is that, based on how things look right now, a lot of people are falling off of my radar. i don't want to be an asshole, but i know where i want to be in the future. i know how much work it will require to get there, and i'm ready to make sacrifices to get there. if these sacrifices include severing ties with people to reduce dead weight, it might have to be done. pretty machiavellian outlook, but i know what my friends are capable of. i'm willing to help you get there, but if you aren't willing to cooperate then i'm not gonna fuck up my shit for you.
i guess this is just james carter's way of expressing lee's message.

Chapter 2
Don't know how many chapters this book will have, but this is a new beginning.
So I intended to retire from blogspot entirely, but my partner in crime here just couldn't let go. This is here only because Mike loves blogging so much, and because our team is boss.
Welcome to the domain of rush hour quotes and premature philosophy.
